The concrete for the grade beam was poured today!!
As you can see, it was a little white this morning. Although we didn't see any sun today, it warmed up enough to make it go away!
Bolts are poking up through the concrete in the beam so the sill plate can be attached. The lower part on the right is where a door will be.
All poured...the indent in the grade beam is to accommodate the 'man door' which will be from the garage to the back yard.
Garage doors on the front. The rebar sticking up will be bent in to go into the garage floor when it is poured.
All tarped up to cure the concrete. Tarps will come off and forms removed on Tuesday, which is when the framers are scheduled to be back.
